Runaway leaders Inter Milan will take a huge step towards regaining the Serie A title if they can defeat Cagliari at the San Siro on Friday night. 

Last week's thrilling 3-4 victory at Como means that Inter have won 24 of their 32 league games this season and have established a comfortable nine-point lead over Napoli at the top of the table. Despite that excellent form, Inter have shown a few defensive vulnerabilities in recent weeks, and they have now gone five league games without a clean sheet.

Cagliari's hard fought 1-0 victory over Cremonese on Sunday ended an eight match winless run and gave Fabio Pisacane's side some much needed breathing space in their fight against the drop. However, it was another hugely underwhelming display from Cagliari, and there is little to suggest that they will get anything from their Friday night trip to Milan.

Inter are cruising to another Serie A title, and this should be another routine three points for Cristian Chivu's side. 

The likes of Marcus Thuram, Denzil Dumfries and Hakan Calhanoglu are all in sublime form for Unter, and we expect them to feast on a Cagliari defence that has struggled for clean sheets in recent months.
