The 12-56 Detroit Pistons will welcome the 38-32 Indiana Pacers to Indianapolis on Wednesday night. The Pacers look to move above .500 on the road as they enter this contest at 17-17 on the year. Pascal Siakam has proven to be a welcomed addition from their mid-season trade with the Raptors. He now leads the Pacers in scoring with 20.6ppg. Myles Turner, the Pacers leader of the frontcourt has only recorded double-digit rebounds in 1 of their last 10 games. He will need to be more of a presence on the glass to help the Pacers in this one. The Pistons come into the contest having lost 7 of their last 10 games. The one bright spot on the Pistons 12-win season has been the play of rookie, Simone Fontecchio. He has exploded for 20+ scoring games twice in his last 4-games. Fontecchio, along with Cade Cunningham, have been the main scoring options for the Pistons since the midway point of the season. They will have their hands full in this matchup with the Pacers, in particular, All-Star Tyrese Haliburton. He and the Pacers blew out the Pistons in their previous meeting 129-115. If the Pistons are going to stand a chance, they will need their young duo to play at an even higher level than they have played at recently.
