The Pacers will face the Celtics at TD Garden after losing again to the 76ers on Monday as 6.5-point underdogs. That marked the Pacers' 34th loss of the season, and their O/U record dropped to 15-29.
Of course, there's an appeal to always betting against Indiana right now. Prior to their defeat by the Sixers, the Pacers faced the Pistons in a resounding 78-121 loss. Indiana started that game as a +15.5-point underdog. However, they had already lost that advantage by the first quarter. With six minutes played, the Pacers had only managed two points in an embarrassing performance.
At least Indiana performs better when Pascal Siakam is on the court; he contributed 24 points in the loss in Philadelphia. Even so, sportsbooks expect another lopsided loss to Boston on Wednesday.
The Celtics also failed to beat the Pistons, but they had an entertaining battle against them on Monday, losing by just one point. Boston was winning with 3:20 remaining, but a three-pointer by Harris turned the game around in Detroit's favor.
