Israel versus Iceland is a EuroBasket clash on Thursday afternoon in Group D. Israel is one of the most overlooked sides, although they pack enough talent within their ranks to pull off an upset. Iceland, on the other hand, will look to pull off an upset against the evidently talented Israelis. The Icelanders will make their third straight EuroBasket appearance after participating in the 2015 and 2017 editions. They’ll be fired up to record their first-ever victory at this FIBA event. Iceland’s road to qualification was also impressive, having defeated Turkey and Hungary at home while picking up an away win against Italy. They are another exciting team to watch.
