Novak Djokovic of Serbia will play for his first ATP title of the year against an in-form Hubert Hurkacz of Poland in Saturday’s championship match at the 2025 Geneva Open.
Djokovic punched his ticket to his second final this year after staving off a resilient Cameron Norrie in their semifinal clash, 6-4 6-7(6) 6-1. After claiming the first set in 10 games, Djokovic squandered the chance of wrapping up the match in two sets after letting Cameron Norrie force a tiebreaker. Thankfully, the 37-year-old Serbian had enough gas left in the tank to put the Brit for good in the third set.
Hurkacz continued his fine play in Geneva as he posted another straight-set win over Sabastian Ofner of Austria 6-3 6-4 in the semifinal. For the third consecutive match, Hurkacz held 100 percent of his serves and won over 80 percent of his first serves to carve out a dominant semifinal win.
