The 6-6 Kansas City Chiefs host the 7-5 Houston Texans at Arrowhead on Sunday night, with both sides urgently needing a win to boost their playoff ambitions.
The Chiefs' agonizing three point lose to Dallas last week dropped them to 6-6, leaving them in serious danger of missing the postseason for the first time since 2014. In all likelihood, KC will need to win four of their final five games, so with tough contests agsint the likes of the Chargers and Broncos coming up, victory on Sunday is essential for Andy Reid's side.
The Texan's path to the playoffs is equally as complicated. They are currently in a three way tussle with the Colts and Jags for the AFC South title. A win on Sunday would move the Texans to eight wins, but like the Chiefs, they also have a tough end to the season, so a defeat at Arrowhead would severely dent their chances of making the postseason.
