There's Saturday night soccer at Shell Energy Stadium this weekend, making it a second home game for the Houston Dynamo in quick succession. The hosts will certainly be hoping to do better against the Philadelphia Union than they did against the Vancouver Whitecaps, who visited Houston on Wednesday night, returning with all three points thanks to a decisive three-goal victory. That was a third defeat in four home games for the Dynamo, who now find themselves outside of the all-important postseason places. They need to regain the winning thread soon to avoid being caught too far behind those currently in the top nine.
Over in the Eastern Conference, the Union boys have no such problems. They currently top the table, while they ought to be confident having won each of their last two. Then again, they've lost their last two away games, so perhaps it's not all sunshine for Bradley Carnell's men.
