The Los Angeles Angels (26-42, 14-19 Home) will try to make it two in a row today when they host the Houston Astros (31-38, 15-19 Away) at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA, with the action set to get underway at 9:38 p.m. EST on MLB.TV.

Houston took Game 1 of the series on Monday, 5-4, but the Angels lineup came back with vengeance in Game 2 yesterday. They jumped out to a 7-0 lead by the end of the second inning and didn’t look back en route to a 10-1 victory.

Reid Detmers will start the day on the mound for the Angels. Detmers is 2-5 in 12 outings with a 4.26 ERA and a 1.14 WHIP. He has not been at his best when pitching at home, going 0-3 in six starts with a 5.11 ERA and a .225 OBA.
