The Astros' ML odds closed at around -145 before Game 2 on Saturday against the Braves, a game Houston again won thanks to a quality outing from Hunter Brown. Once again, Atlanta's chances of winning the game dropped to less than 15% just past the third inning, as the Astros had already scored their six runs of the game.

Although Yordan Álvarez went 0-for-4 for the third consecutive game in Saturday's win, this time he appeared at the bottom of the Astros' lineup to do the work, with Walker going 2-for-4 with a home run and Meyers going 2-for-3.

The opposite was true for the bottom of the Braves' lineup, as Harris, Ozuna, and Álvarez combined went 0-for-9; the newly acquired Korean Kim played shortstop and went 1-for-3. The top of the Braves' lineup responded with Profar going 2-for-4 and Olson going 2-for-4.
