This week's Sunday Night Football matchup is a mouthwatering clash between the 1-2 Dallas Cowboys and the 2-1 Green Bay Packers.
The Packers missed a golden chance to move to 3-0 last weekend, when they slipped to a shock 13-10 defeat in Cleveland. That loss was largely down to a lacklustre offensive display, plus a blocked field goal in the last minute that allowed the Browns to score a FG of their own as time expired. A quick bounce back from that defeat is essential if the Packers want to keep pace with the other teams at the top of the highly competitive NFC North.
The Cowboys also tasted defeat last, falling to a dismal 31-14 loss in Chicago. As has been the case in all three of the Cowboys' games so far, a weak defense was the big problem for Brian Schottenheimer's side. After three weeks of the season, Dallas are languishing in 30th place in the NFL total defense rankings, a situation that urgently needs to improve if the Boys are to reach the playoffs.

Green Bay will have a point to prove after last week's shock defeat to the Browns, and that could spell trouble for a Cowboys defense that has floundered in the opening weeks of the season.
On the other hand, Dallas QB Dak Prescott has looked pretty sharp in September, so we think he will have some joy against the robust Packers' defense. However, we simply cannot see the Cowboys being able to stop Jordan Love and co, so we are taking the Packers to win a high scoring contest.
