Portland Trail Blazers will open the season with a home match against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday morning. They had a solid preseason, picking up wins against the Jazz and the Kings while losing narrowly to the Clippers. This will be their fourth year under Chauncey Billups, who guided them to only 21 wins last season. They haven’t participated in the postseason tournament for three years in a row, although their young roster could come of age this year. The Warriors will also be hunting for a bounce-back campaign after finishing tenth in the West with a 46-36 record. During the offseason, they signed one of the league’s most dangerous 3-point shooters, Buddy Hield, to replace the released Klay Thompson. The Warriors will be buzzing after winning all their preseason games.
