With the new NBA season upon us, we're in for a great match as Los Angeles Lakers take on Golden State Warriors. Lakes reached the Conference Semi Finals in postseason, but were beaten by Oklahoma City. LA also enjoyed a successful Summer League tournament, although they were beaten in the final match by their first opponents of the new season. Golden State Warriors reached the Play-In round last season, but were beaten by Phoenix Suns in the Number 8 Seed game. The Dubs won five of their last six in their Summer League games.
The Lakers finished fourth in the Western Conference last season with a 53-29 record. As for the Warriors, they finished in 10th place, ending with a regular season record of 37-45. Lakers were great at home, with a 28-13 record. The Dubs struggled on the road and finished with a 15-26 away record.
