Gilbert Burns (22-8-0) and Michael Morales (17-0-0) will square off at UFC Apex in Las Vegas on Saturday night. In this fight card, former welterweight title challenger Burns will look to maintain his top 10 ranking in the franchise against the undefeated Morales. “Durinho” is currently No. 8 in the official UFC rankings and will be looking to bounce back from his defeat against Sean Brady in November last year. Following this loss, Burns fell from No. 6 to No. 8 in the rankings.
Meanwhile, Michael Morales is largely considered one of the hottest prospects in the UFC. He joined the franchise in September 2021 after winning a contract via a unanimous decision victory over Nikolay Veretennikov on a DWCS fight card.
