Finland takes on Germany on Thursday, September 4, at the Tampere Deck Arena in Finland.

Germany is also fresh off a dominant 120-57 victory over Great Britain. Tristan Da Silva led all scorers with 25 points built on 5-7 shooting from three-point territory. Veteran guard Dennis Schroder added 19 points and 5 assists, while Franz Wagner produced a double-double performance of 18 points and 10 assists.
Meanwhile, the hosts Finland snapped their three-game winning streak with a close 81-78 loss to Lithuania. The Finnish offense struggled in the second and third quarters, and their comeback in the final period fell short.
Lauri Markkanen and Mikael Jantunen led Finland with 19 points apiece. They have a good opportunity to bounce back in Thursday's game against Germany.
