Geoff Nael (16-6-0) and Carlos Prates (21-7-0) will clash in the UFC Welterweight division on Saturday night at the United Center in Chicago. Geoff Nael will enter this 3-round bout full of confidence that he can send Prates to an early shower. In fact, the 34-year-old American predicted this would happen in the first 3 minutes. Prates has a slightly better knockout record of 12-1. We expect the fighter who will protect himself from getting hit to win this three-round scrap. Nael is an excellent striker, although his shorter stature puts him at a disadvantage in terms of reach. We have witnessed him struggle to contain tall/longer fighters before. Prates should have an edge in this fight.
