AC Milan travel to Genoa on Monday night knowing that victory is essential if they are to retain hopes of qualifying for next season's European competitions. With four games remaining, Sergio Conceicao's side are six points off the top six, so in all likelihood they would need to win all of their remaining games to have any chance of bridging the gap to the European places. 

Fortunately for Milan, their opponents on Monday night have very little to play for. Genoa did look to be in relegation trouble during the first half of the campaign, but thanks to a series of much improved displays under new manager Patrick Viera, they have moved into a comfortable mid table position. Defence has been the key ingredient of the Genoa revival, and Viera's side have now conceded just two goals in their last seven Serie A matches.

Milan have been excellent on the road in recent weeks, so we are predicting Sergio Conceicao's men to make four away wins on the spin. Genoa have also been playing well over the last month, but they came unstuck against Lazio in their last home game and we just don't think they have the quality to compete with the top teams in Serie A.
