Taylor Fritz of the United States will contest with Felix Auger-Aliassime of Canada for a spot in the men’s singles final of the 2025 Boss Stuttgart Open on Saturday.
Fritz punched his ticket to the semifinal round with a clinical win over Marton Fucsovics of Hungary 6-3 6-4 in the quarterfinals. Fritz held 100 percent of his serves and then broke Fucsovics two times to stay undefeated on grass after two matches. Fritz had also ousted Quentin Halys 6-3 7-6(6) in the second round.
Auger-Aliassime continued his fine play on grass as he dispatched 17-year-old Justin Engel of Germany 7-6(3) 6-3. The Canadian landed 70 percent of his first serves, collecting 36 points. He also broke the teenager twice and fired 18 aces.
