The new MLS season kicks off this weekend and one of the biggest fixtures of the opening round sees last season's runners up, the New York Red Bulls, visit strongly fancied FC Cincinnati.

The Red Bulls came agonizingly close to glory last season, only to be narrowly denied by the Galaxy in the MLS Cup final. Since that defeat, the Red Bulls have made a few key signings, most notably striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting from Bayern Munich.

However, they will go into Saturday night's game as underdogs against a solid looking Cincinnati side that has been strengthened by the offseason arrivals of Kévin Denkey, Lukas Engel and Evander.
