It's going to be a great Friday for ASVEL fans. It will be a tough game, but it promises to be a great evening at the LDLC Arena as Barcelona visits for the 24th round of the Euroleague. Unfortunately, the match may end in the same way for a team that has disappointed year after year in Europe's most prestigious basketball competition.
Barcelona has relaunched its Euroleague campaign. After the humiliation suffered in the Euroleague Clasico (80-61), Barça owed its fans a rematch at the beginning of the week. The Catalans left Dubai with no hope, thanks in particular to a successful money time: 91-89. It was a close call, but the outcome of the game was favorable for Xavi Pascual's men. Once again facing a negative opponent, FCB must be able to keep up the momentum in order to remain in the top 6. A victory would allow them to climb a few places in the standings with a view to securing home-court advantage in the playoffs.
