The second game of the NHL Western Conference finals between Dallas Stars and Edmonton Oilers will take place next Friday night, being worth noting that Dallas had such a wonderful performance during the first game of the series, in which they collected a very dominant victory over the Oilers, 6-3. With that in mind, the Stars clearly put some weight out of their shoulders, but they must keep pushing forward to become the Conference champions.

In this matter, it cannot be forgotten that the last time that Dallas played the first two games of the series at home, they couldn’t find a way to win both games, so this will be a very good opportunity for them to do it for the first time in the current playoffs. Having that objective in mind, the Stars must try to keep a similar offensive performance, in which Tyler Seguin was able to surprise with two scored goals during the first game of the series.

Meanwhile, Edmonton Oilers must try to reorganize their defensive line, as they couldn’t sustain the 1-3 advantage they built during the first two periods of the game, and it ended in a chaotic third period in which they were totally obliterated during the first five minutes of the third period. With that in mind, the Oilers must try to avoid providing frequent powerplays, as those were the keys that allowed Dallas to win the first game.
