Starting Monday, the Tigers face a new series against the Athletics. The A's pitching succumbed to the Mariners' offense in the final game of the series on Sunday, but Rookie of the Year candidate Jacob Wilson hit a home run in the loss. Nick Kurtz, another A's player, is the heavy favorite to win the Rookie of the Year award.
