Milwaukee Brewers vs Detroit Tigers Prediction & Picks - MLB

After beating the Milwaukee Brewers 9-1 on Monday, the Detroit Tigers will try to keep the good times rolling in Game Two of the series at American Family Field on Tuesday at 7:40 p.m. EST.

Tarik Skubal gave the visiting Tigers a great start in Monday’s game, going seven innings, striking out nine, and giving up just four hits.  He got lots of support from the Detroit lineup (nine hits and nine runs), with all nine runs coming inside the first five innings. Brewers starter Tyler Alexander got chased after giving up eight runs (four earned). Elvin Rodriguez ended up going the rest of the way for Milwaukee, giving up three hits and a run in the back half of the game.

If the stat lines for both of today’s pitchers are any indication, fans could be in for a low-scoring affair. Tigers starter Jack Flaherty has appeared in three games, getting the win in one with an ERA of 1.62. Milwaukee will turn to Quinn Priester (1.80 ERA) to start the game. Priester has one start under his belt, going five innings and giving up six hits (including one home run) and a run while striking out four and walking two.
