Cam Thomas has been on a roll offensively for the Nets as of late, prompting bookmakers to list him at over/under 26.5 points in the player's props section.
The Detroit Pistons:
The losses keep piling up for the Pistons after bowing out to the Memphis Grizzlies on April 5. Jaden Ivey put up one of his best games this season, recording 31 points on 66 FG%. Detroit, however, continued to face the same issues as they shot 32.3 3P% and 40.5 FG%. The Pistons rank among the worst offensive teams at 110.4 points per game.
Additional Notes: Cade Cunningham is out for Saturday's game vs. the Nets due to a knee injury he suffered against the Grizzlies. Despite another disappointing season for his team, Cunningham continues to blossom as an all-around player, averaging 23.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 7.5 assists in his third year in the NBA.
The Brooklyn Nets:
Meanwhile, the Nets have been showing some fight in them despite already being out of the playoffs race. Brooklyn came off an upset win over the Indiana Pacers, 115-114, on April 3, which snapped a two-game losing skid. It also marked their fourth win in their last six games.
Additional Notes: Cam Thomas continued to terrorize opposing teams at least on the offensive end of the floor. The fleet-foot guard scored 27 points on 42.9 FG% in a win vs. the Pacers.
