The undefeated Minnesota Vikings face their toughest test of the season on Sunday, as they host the 4-1 Detroit Lions at U.S. Bank Stadium. The Vikings will be fresh off their bye week, but face a Lions team playing some of the best football in the entire NFL. Last week, Detroit thrashed the Cowboys 47-9 with a scintillating display on both sides of the ball. However, a season ending injury to star defensive end Aiden Hutchinson took the shine off the win and HC Dan Campbell faces a huge challenge in overcoming the loss of his best defensive player. The Vikings 5-0 record has been built on the unexpected form of journeyman QB Sam Darnold. The former first round pick has slotted seamlessly into the Minnesota offense, and with the help of weapons such as Aaron Jones and Justin Jefferson, he has turned the Vikings into an elite offensive unit.
