Week Two of the NFL season kicks off with a blockbuster TNF clash between two of the league's most explosive offenses, as the Buffalo Bills face the Detroit Lions at Highmark Stadium.
The Bills started the season with an exciting 36-31 win over the Texans in a game that saw superstar QB Josh Allen throw for 334 yards and 2 TDs, plus add two more touchdowns on the ground. On the other side of the ball, Greg Rousseau recorded two strip sacks, the second of which resulted in a game-ending recovery from Terrel Bernard.
Detroit looked to be cruising to an opening win over the Saints after establishing a 21-0 lead in the third quarter. However, a worrying defensive collapse saw New Orleans force the game into overtime, where a failed two point conversion handed a last gasp victory to the Lions. A much-improved defensive display is needed if Detroit are to stop Josh Allen and co from running riot on Thursday night.
