The Dallas Wings (14-8) visit the Toronto Tempo (9-12) for a 2026 WNBA regular season matchup on Friday, July 10, at Coca-Cola Coliseum.
These teams faced each other earlier this month, ending in an 89-76 win for the Wings. All five starters for Dallas scored in double digits, with Paige Bueckers's 22-point performance leading the way. Azzi Fudd contributed 17 markers, while Jessica Shepard hauled in a double-double of 14 points and 15 rebounds.
That victory against the Tempo was the Wings' second in their current three-game winning streak. They're also coming off an inspiring 88-77 win over the New York Liberty. Shepard was tremendous yet again, producing a triple-double stat line of 22 points, 12 boards, and 11 assists.
Moreover, the Wings defended the three-point line, holding the Liberty to a measly 19.2% shooting from beyond the arc. It encapsulates the Wings' improvement on that end of the floor. They're currently 5th in the league in defensive rating (106.5).
Plus, we can't forget that they're 6th in offensive rating, too.
So, the Tempo have their work cut out for them. They're struggling as of late, losing their last three games, including an 83-75 defeat to the Golden State Valkyries. Taking care of the ball was a huge problem for Toronto in that loss, as they turned it over 20 times.
