The Dallas Wings (1-5) visit the Seattle Storm (3-4) on June 3, Tuesday, at the Climate Pledge Arena.
The Paige Bueckers era isn't off to a great start in Dallas. After winning their first game of the season against the Connecticut Sun, the Wings were then hit with an injury to Bueckers. The talented rookie guard is currently sitting out due to concussion protocol.
To make matters worse, Tyasha Harris is also out with a knee injury. Harris is logging at least 16 minutes per game, so that's another rotational piece gone for Dallas.
Meanwhile, the Storm is also struggling as of late. After a 3-1 start to the season, they've lost their last three games, specifically to the Minnesota Lynx, Atlanta Dream, and Las Vegas Aces. Granted that those are perennial contenders, it still doesn't bode well for the Storm.
Still, the Storm are a better defensive team over the Wings. The Wings do have a better offensive rating (106.2), but Bueckers's absence stripped them of their main playmaker. The Storm's defense should have an easier time dealing with the Wings offense.
