These two met earlier this month in Dallas, and the Stars picked up a 4-1 victory. After heading into the 3rd period tied 1-1, the Stars rattled off 3 unanswered goals on their way to the win.

The Stars have won 3 of their last 5 games, with their most recent one being a 4-1 victory at home over the Kings. The win avoided a 3-game losing skid, as the Stars had fallen to both Minnesota and Florida in their two previous games. After being outscored 9-2 in the losses, it was a breath of fresh air for Stars fans to see them hold LA to just a single goal while putting up a healthy 4 of their own.

The Sharks have put up a 4-1 mark since their previous loss to the Stars. They are currently riding a 3-game winning streak after defeating the Leafs, Penguins, and Flames recently. In their last two wins, they put up 6 goals each, which has helped move them more to the middle of the pack in total goals scored in the league. Macklin Celebrini has been the focal point over this 3-game stretch. He has scored 3 goals and assisted on another 5. He is currently leading the Sharks in all offensive categories.
