The Dallas Cowboys (3-3 SU, 2-3-1 ATS) visit the San Francisco 49ers (3-4 SU, 3-4 ATS) in a matchup of two teams that have been fairly disappointing to this point. The Cowboys have figured out how to play on the road fairly well, at least, going a perfect 3-0 away from home in 2024. But their last game was a complete embarrassment, as the Lions walked into Dallas and blasted the Cowboys by 38.
Dallas has had two weeks to try to get back on track since then, and the Cowboys’ best bet would have been to start with their struggling offense. Dallas has broken 20 points just once in its past five games, and that came in a home loss to Baltimore. The defense hasn’t exactly been great either; the Cowboys have allowed 44 points on two different occasions this year. With Dallas, it’s either a low-scoring win or a high-scoring defeat.

Brock Purdy isn’t playing very well at the moment, and the 49ers defense isn’t getting enough done to have much faith in them right now. With Dallas actually playing its best football away from home, the 49ers seem to be giving too many points. Our prediction for Dallas vs. San Francisco is Cowboys +5.5.
