We'll see the new Championship leaders in action this weekend! Thanks to their 5-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday before the international break, Coventry City have overtaken Middlesbrough to take the top spot in the table. Frank Lampard's side will have to live up to their status as number one this Saturday afternoon by beating Blackburn, one of the worst teams in the league at the moment. There is no doubt that the Bantams will perform well, as their recent performances have been very encouraging: three consecutive wins, 12 goals scored, and not a single goal conceded. Add to that the fact that they haven't lost a game since the end of August, and you have a home team brimming with confidence from the kickoff.

Blackburn would like to say the same, but with 7 points in 8 games, that's impossible. The green and white team is currently flirting with the relegation zone, which is not good news before traveling to the top team of October. This poor position can be explained by the negative spiral in which BRFC finds itself. Valérien Ismaël's men have gone three games without a win on English soil, including two defeats in that run. With an average of two goals conceded in the last 270 minutes, the Rovers don't look ready to challenge Coventry City.
