Following a decent home win against the San Jose Earthquakes last weekend, the Columbus Crew will once again do business in front of a home crowd at Lower.com Field, where their next task is to go up against a Charlotte side that struggled to get going last time out, losing at home in rather underwhelming fashion to the New England Revolution.
The 2025 campaign is now going well for Saturday's hosts, who not only won last time out, but who've won four of their last five MLS games, beating the likes of St. Louis and CF Montreal. the 2020 and 2023 MLS Cup winners have also lost just one of their last eight league games, leaving them sitting second in the Eastern Conference. Saturday's visitors aren't far behind, though, with Charlotte sitting in fourth, just two points shy of the Crew.
The problem for Dean Smith's men is that they're simply not as effective on the road as they are at Bank of America Stadium. The visitors have won just out of four away from home this season, losing two of their last three.
