These two teams now square off for the 2nd game of the series, and Toronto will have a veteran ace on the mound. Max Scherzer is entering his 11th year in the big leagues, but is coming off his worst year in terms of ERA. Scherzer finished his 2025 campaign with a 5-5 record but carried a bloated 5.19 ERA.
