He also struck out six to set the tone in Minnesota’s dominant 5-0 win. Meanwhile, the Rockies have now lost eight of their last 10 games, burying them deeper into the NL West standings with a 23-48 slate. On the other hand, the Rockies are 2-5 in their last seven road games. Picking the outright winner is going to be tricky for any bettor since both teams have had a fair share of losing in the past two weeks. However, I have a feeling that Cal Quantrill will put up a strong start against the Twins after blanking the St. Louis Cardinals for 5.0 innings in his last tour on the mound. Of course, Minnesota remains dangerous if given the opportunity to deal damage early.
