Perez, Pasquantino, India, Massey, Isbel, Renfroe, Melendez, and Biggio are some of the Royals' key bats who started the first half of the MLB season completely cold, and none of them are averaging more than 220 AVG this season. With this, the Royals have a 2-8 record in their last 10 games, and while they are already five games behind the Tigers, they have a three-game series against the even weaker Rockies at Kauffman Stadium. The Royals will be overwhelming favorites to win Game 1 with odds of around -215.

The Royals are averaging just 2.9 runs, but the Rockies can't boast, as they are averaging only 3.3 with the advantage of playing at Colorado's altitude.
