The Chicago Cubs (38-35, 21-15 Home) will try to keep the good times rolling today after beating the Colorado Rockies (27-46, 13-26 Away) 5-4 yesterday. The two teams will face off in Game 2 of a three-game series at Wrigley Field in Chicago, IL. Fans can follow the contest on MLB.TV once the game gets underway at 8:05 p.m. EST.

Chicago’s pitchers were able to hold the Rockies lineup in check a day after it recorded a franchise record 23 runs. Colorado will, in turn, do what it can to slow Pete Crow-Armstrong down after watching him hit for the cycle yesterday.

The Cubbies are scheduled to start Edward Cabrera. He is 4-3 in 12 starts with a 4.86 ERA and a 1.41 WHIP. But he has had some issues at home, where he is 2-2 in seven starts with a 5.15 ERA and a .301 OBA. He pitched against the Rockies in his last start, June 11, where he went 5 1/3 innings, allowing five hits and two earned runs (both from home runs) while walking two and striking out five.

As for Colorado, they’ll have Ryan Feltner on the mound to start the day. He is 2-2 in eight starts with a 5.20 ERA and a 1.21 WHIP. He also pitched in the series against the Cubs last week in Denver. But he did not have a strong day, getting pulled after 4 1/3 innings and allowing six runs while walking three and striking out three.
