The Colorado Rockies will try to get back on the right side of the scoreboard when they take on the Red Sox in Boston at Fenway Park. It will be Game 2 of a three-game series and will get underway at 7:10 p.m. EST.

Colorado got on the board first yesterday with a run in the top of the second, but the Red Sox countered with three in the bottom half of the inning and never looked back. Richard Fitts got the win after pitching 5 2/3 innings and giving up just five hits and two earned runs while striking out six and walking one. The Rockies will turn to Kyle Freeland to start the day on the mound. His overall record has not been great; he’s 1-9 in 16 starts with a 5.49 ERA and .322 OBA (1.58 WHIP). But he has been better on the road, however, going 1-5 in eight starts with a 4.50 ERA and .280 OBA. He did have a solid outing his last time out, going six innings vs. the Astros and giving up six hits and three earned runs. While he did not factor into the decision, the Rockies won 7-6. As for the Red Sox, Bryan Bello is scheduled to start. He has a 4-3 record in 13 starts (14 appearances), a 3.42 ERA, and a 1.38 WHIP.
