The Penguins had a great game on Saturday against the Maple Leafs and now they will face the Avalanche in a series of 4 straight home wins that they will try to continue at PPG Paints Arena. Even with a negative record of 12-13-4 and seventh in the metropolitan conference, the Penguins have managed to win several games decided by one goal, where this season they have a record of 5-1-2.
However, on Tuesday they will face a tough Avalanche team that is a good visitor with a record of 9-6. Despite Colorado being the 12th team with the most goals per game in the NHL, curiously in the first third of the games they do not manage to average a goal with 0.87. So far this season, the Avalanche and Penguins have not faced each other, although the home team won the last two games against each other.
