The Tampa Bay Rays (61-43, 37-15 Home) will go for the series sweep today when they host the Cleveland Guardians in the third game of a three-game weekend series at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, FL. First Pitch is scheduled for 12:15 p.m. EST with coverage provided by Peacock.

In Friday’s game, the offense led the way for the Rays, as they clobbered the Guardians 11-3. But in Saturday’s game, the lineup did enough by scoring three runs, but it was the pitching staff throwing a shutout that led the way.

Drew Rasmussen is scheduled to get the start for the Rays. He is 8-5 in 19 starts with a 0.98 WHIP. Rasmussen has gone 5-3 at home in nine starts with a 3.51 ERA and a .220 OBA. He only lasted 2 1/3 innings in his last home start, getting chased by the Yankees after just 2 1/3 innings (seven hits, six earned runs).

As for Cleveland, the Guardians are scheduled to start Parker Messick. Messick has gone 8-5 in 20 starts with a 2.68 ERA and a 1.05 WHIP. He has often had some of his best stuff on the road, where he is 5-3 in nine starts with a 2.35 ERA and a .194 OBA.
