Tampa Bay Rays vs Cleveland Guardians Prediction & Picks - MLB

The Tampa Bay Rays (46-47) are coming off a series where they took 2 of the 3 games off the New York Yankees. Now, they will host the visiting Cleveland Guardians (57-35) in what will be another tough series. Cleveland is looking to avoid a 3-game losing streak after taking Ls in 3 of the 4 games they played the Detroit Tigers. 2 of those losses came by just a solo run. In the final loss, a 10-1 blowout, it seemed like the Guardians just wanted to get out of Detroit. They will face the Rays' Taj Bradley (3-4, 3.23) who is coming off a solid start in his last outing. Facing the Rangers, Bradley allowed just 1 run on 5 hits in 6 innings of work. He will look to continue that strong pitching here against the Guardians. For Cleveland, they will look to Carlos Carrrasco (3-6, 5.22) to be the guy who pitches them to a win and avoids a losing streak. He is coming off back-to-back starts where he allowed 3 runs to both the White Sox and Giants. He has now pitched 4 straight games without factoring into a decision. Time will tell whether he will be on one side or the other in this one.
