The St. Louis Cardinals (10-8, 6-6 Away) will try to make it two in a row at home today when they host the Cleveland Guardians (10-8, 6-6 Away) in Game Three of a three-game series. Game Three will take place at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, MO, with First Pitch scheduled for 1:15 p.m. EST. Coverage will be provided by MLB.TV.

Cleveland started this series off right with a dominant 9-3 over the hometown Cardinals and got out to a 5-2 lead on them yesterday before St. Louis mounted a comeback. The Cardinals scored two in the bottom of the 8th and tied it up with another in the ninth to send it to extra innings, where they won with a Nathan Church sacrifice fly in the tenth.

Cleveland will start Slade Cecconi on the mound. He is 0-2 in three starts with a 5.74 ERA and 1.21 WHIP. Ceconni was hit hard in his last outing vs. the Braves, going 5 1/3 innings and giving up seven hits (two home runs) and five runs (four earned), and striking out three.  Dustin May is getting the start for St. Louis. May is 1-2 with a 9.45 ERA and 1.80 WHIP. He had his best outing his last time out, throwing six innings and giving up four hits and two runs (one earned).
