The New York Mets will try to bounce back when they host the Cleveland Guardians after losing in extra innings yesterday, 7-6 F/10. First Pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. EST. After heading into the tenth inning with the game tied at 5-5, the Guardians took the lead with a pair of runs in the top half of the inning. The Mets plated one run in the bottom half of the inning but were unable to get a second across to tie the game up again.

New York will turn to Clayton Holmes to start the day on the mound. Holmes is 9-6 this season in 22 starts with a 3.45 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, and .247 OBA.
