The Cleveland Guardians (6-2 SU, 6-2 ATS) look to stay hot as they face the Minnesota Twins (3-3 SU, 3-3 ATS) on Saturday. The Guardians are looking to make a statement that they’re the team to beat in the AL Central, and they’ve made an argument by taking six road games to start the season. However, the back-end starters haven’t been as strong for Cleveland, as Carlos Carrasco didn’t look sharp against Oakland.
Minnesota isn’t off to a great start, in large part because the Twins aren’t hitting in big numbers. The Twins have built their offense on home runs, but they’ve only hit three to this point. When the numbers aren’t there, the Twins are vulnerable. Joe Ryan did turn in a good start against Kansas City, but he took three losses to Cleveland last season.
