After going 3-1 in their 1st series which was against the Oakland, they wet 1-1 in Seattle prior their rubber match which has yet to be played as of this article. Cleanup hitter Josh Naylor is slugging .632 and Andres Gimenez leads the team with 5 RBIs. They will throw Tanner Bibee in this matchup. Bibee walked 5 and allowed 3 earned runs in 4 innings in their 7-6 win over Reds in his 1st start. The 2-2 Twins will counter with Pablo Lopez who was spectacular in his 1st start of the season. He went 7 innings and struck out 7 and allowed just 1 run while walking none. As a team, Minnesta is 28th in the league with a .188 batting average while slugging just .266 which is 30th in the league. Their one bright spot, Royce Lewis, is sitting on the 10-day IL. Lewis went 2-2 and homered on opening day before suffering a quad injury. This game will be the home opener for Minnesota who will need to get some hot bats to pull out this victory.
