An RBI single by Andy Pages got the Dodgers on the board in the fourth inning, and a home run by Max Muncy gave Los Angeles the only other run the Dodgers needed (they tacked on two more in the eighth). Cleveland closed the scoring with a run in the ninth.
Gavin Williams is set to start for the Guardians. He took the loss in his first start last week (vs. Seattle), lasting five innings and giving up two hits (one home run), six walks, three earned runs, and seven strikeouts. The Dodgers are going with Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who got the win last week in his start against Arizona (six innings, five hits (one home run), two earned runs, and six strikeouts.
