Without a doubt, the Royals and Guardians, both well-armed teams that play good baseball, make few errors, and take the necessary risks to win close games, played the most evenly matched series so far in MLB's opening week.

The Guardians won the first game 4-7 in extra innings, and the second ended 4-3 in favor of the Royals, with a strong relief performance from Daniel Lynch, who ended up taking the W.
