On Sunday, the Cavaliers closed as 6.5-point betting favorites to beat the Bucks; the game ended 118-113 with a Cavs victory, with Mitchell scoring 24 points and Mobley making all 12 of his free throws.
As for the Cavs, their most aggressive move of the offseason was the acquisition of Lonzo Ball from the Chicago Bulls and the addition of a valuable piece to the bench in Sam Merrill.
For their part, the Pistons also emerged victorious on Sunday, beating the Celtics 119-113. On a team built around him, Cunningham helped his team with 25 points in the victory against Boston.
