New York sits in a tie with Atlanta for the final playoff spot with just 22 games to play, making every game crucial the rest of the way. The Mets come in playing some of their best baseball of the season, riding a sweep of Boston and a seven-game winning streak.
The Reds also come in playing pretty good baseball, having pulled off a surprising home sweep of the Astros.
