The Cincinnati Reds (2-6, 0-2 away) will try once again to get back on the right side of the scoreboard when they face the Milwaukee Brewers (4-4, 4-1 at home) in Game Three of a four-game series.

Milwaukee got to Reds starter Nick Martinez early in the game with a run in the second inning. He was chased not long after Brice Turang tagged him for a two-run home run in the bottom of the fifth to make the score 3-0. Cincinnati finally ended its scoreless drought in the top of the eighth when Christian Encarnacion-Strand knocked in a run with a sacrifice fly. They added another run to make the final 3-2. Cincinnati will turn to right-hander Brady Singer on the mound tonight. In his previous start (March 31 vs. Texas), he pitched seven shutout innings of one-hit ball, striking out eight and walking two. The Reds scored 14 runs off 14 hits in that game, but have had just 14 hits and two runs in the four games since (all losses). Milwaukee will hope for a bounce-back game for right-hander Elvin Rodriguez, who lasted four innings in his last start, giving up six hits, one home run, and four earned runs.
