Cincinnati (33-35) currently leads the Brewers (40-28) 6-3 in the top of the 9th and look to be headed to their 9th win in their last 11 games. The Brewers have been struggling a bit in June. They are currently just 6-5 and potentially 6-6 after this current game. After being swept by the Phillies, they were able to take 2 out of 3 against the Tigers but have not been able to string together 3 straight wins just yet. TJ Friedl has been responsible for knocking in 2 runs and scoring 2 as well in the Friday night game for the Reds while Hunter Greene pitched a sketchy 5 innings where he struck out 5 but also walked 5. On Saturday, the Reds will turn to Andrew Abbott (5-5, 3.28) while the Brewers will go with Bryse Wilson (3-3, 4.19). Abbot is coming off a shaky start that ended in him picking up his 5th win of the season. He pitched 5 innings against the Cubs at home and held them to 1 run despite walking 4 batters. Wilson was rocked for 7 runs against the Tigers in his last outing which ended up being his worst start of the season.
