Reds begin a new 4-game series against Marlins at Loan Depot Park. The Reds have a 53-58 record and a sweep is pretty much the only thing that works if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Regarding MLB betting, the Reds are along with the Rays the most unpredictable team, in many cases the Reds win when they are underdogs and lose when they are favorites.

The Marlins have had a very good second half, with a 9-7 record, despite having gotten rid of Chisholm Jr. and De La Cruz. They also traded their star closer Scott to the Padres.

Muñoz will be the pitcher for Marlins, he has never faced the Reds, and has better numbers on the road. This season he has a high ERA of 6.43 in 6 home appearances.

It is an excellent opportunity for the Reds to produce some offense. In the last 10 games they have hit for a collective AVG of 199, although they have maintained a good HRs per game average of 1.3. In that span, as if that were not enough, on August 2 Snell threw a no-hitter, in which the Reds struck out 14 times. The entire starting lineup struck out at least once.
